The Pharmacy Guild of Australia aims to change people’s perceptions of their local pharmacy from medicine dispensary to healthcare provider. These two new commercials form part of a ongoing campaign and focus on childcare and caring for elderly relatives. Jack Watts Currie approached us to help them rework their previous campaign.
“This campaign has been a labour of love for us all at Jack Watts Currie. We wanted to work with people who felt the same way. The guys at the itch nailed it.” said Creative Director Colin Watts
Building on the original commercial’s picture book feel, all the elements were made to look as if they fold up, pop up style. Transitions were also created that let one scene fold into another like paper in a book. The team worked hard to give everything a hand drawn look with all the 3D animation created on ‘2’s’ to give it a traditional 2D animation feel.
